Keeping Car Cabin Clean And Comfortable

Keeping Car Cabin Clean And Comfortable

Keeping Car Cabin Clean And Comfortable - A clean car both from the outside and the inside of the car cabin will make the driver and passengers comfortable throughout the trip, especially if you have to drive for a long time. Therefore, maintaining the cleanliness of the car cabin must be a mandatory agenda for you.

Especially if you have a family car that often carries a lot of passengers. Caring for a car cabin is actually not difficult, follow the tips below to keep your car cabin clean and comfortable to use.

1. Clean Carpet

The car carpet is the part that is directly exposed to the driver's and passenger's footwear. Starting from the remains of soil and dust from footwear, to the crumbs of food eaten while traveling, they often contaminate the carpet.

Therefore when cleaning the car cabin, start by cleaning the underside of this car by removing all the carpets. Wash with running water and give cleaning fluid. If there are stains, brush the dirty part of the carpet and then hang it in the sun to dry. While waiting for the carpet to dry, you can clean the bottom of the cabin with a vacuum cleaner or brush.

2. Remove Dust From Dashboard

The dashboard is an important part because there are indicator panels that contain information on the condition of the engine, AC ventilation holes that emit cold air, head units for entertainment to multi-purpose storage compartments in this section.

Therefore, don't skip cleaning the dashboard because this area is usually dusty. Use a soft cloth made from microfiber so as not to damage the surface. You can moisten a cloth with water and a special cleaning mixture or you can use a cleaning solution that you put in a spray bottle.

Wipe slowly starting from the most visible part to the corners that are hard to reach. Use a small tool such as a brush or soft-bristled brush to clean between areas where your rag cannot reach. If it is already.

3. Upholstery Cleaning

Parts of the car seat also cannot be overlooked for cleaning because this part is also often exposed to dust or food crumbs during travel. First, clean the upholstery from the remnants of dirt first, you can use a vacuum cleaner or a soft brush.

After that, use car cleaning fluid and warm water, dip it in a clean cloth to scrub the surface of the car seat. After that, continue to wipe with a dry cloth. If your seat is made of leather, after drying polish the surface with a special moisturizer for leather. For the record, don't forget to open the door when cleaning the upholstery so that it dries faster.

4. Don't Forget the Ceiling Section

This part is often too late to clean, even though the cleanliness of the ceiling really helps add to the comfort of the car cabin. Ceilings in ordinary car cabins are made of cloth or velvet. Both have different ways of cleaning.

On fabric ceilings, you can clean using a microfiber cloth that has been moistened with water and cleaning fluid. While the velvet ceiling can't be exposed to a cloth that's too wet, it's a good idea to spray some cleaning fluid and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid scrubbing too hard because this part is easy to tear, wipe with a slow motion in the same direction and dry.

5. Clean AC Filter

Dirty evaporator components or air conditioning filters can cause unpleasant odors in the cab. Therefore, don't forget to clean the AC filter so that the air in the car cabin remains clean and safe to breathe. If after cleaning the filter still doesn't work normally, replace the filter with a new one. Replace your Suzuki car AC filter only at our official repair shop.
